South of the border favorites await you in Tellico Plains.

On Sunday over the weekend we decided to head to Tellico Plains. We are very blessed to live in such a beautiful county and Tellico Plains is one of our favorite destinations. My wife Jane and I were planning to go up the Cherohala Skyway and we wanted to get a quick bite before heading up the mountain. So we stopped by the Senor Lopez Mexican Grill just off Highway 68 at 105 Mecca Pike. Sure glad we did. We both had shredded chicken chimichangas which were excellent. The service was top notch as well. I was not only impressed by their food and service, but their willingness to help others in need.

When you first walk into the restaurant you can't help but notice a podium with Mathew 25:40 posted on the front. It also reads: "$10 meals have been paid in advance. If you are hungry and cannot afford a meal please take a ticket, order and eat. Please do not be shy or embarrassed." What a noble effort to help others who might not be as fortunate.
