About two years ago, I decided that Monroe County is such an incredible place, it needed to be shared with the rest of the world! That’s the day Simply Monroe Magazine was born!         

Next, I needed to find just the right person to host the program.  That person had to first and foremost be a Monroe County native and love this county as much as I do.  The person also had to have impeccable interview skills, a great personality, plus sound great and look great on camera as well.  After all, this person would be on audio podcasts and a video version of the podcast that would be shared on multiple platforms.  Simply Monroe got all that and much more when my childhood friend John Byrum agreed to host the show.

Simply Monroe Magazine is produced by Mike Anderson Productions LLC, a local digital content creator from studios and offices located in Madisonville using the very latest in digital video and audio production techniques. Then we harness the awesome power of the internet to showcase the very best people, places, and things that Monroe County, Tennessee has to offer, to not only Monroe County, but the world as well.  Thank you so much for visiting!
